Merchandise Bright Colors With These 3 Tips
In case you haven’t noticed, statement-making colors are always in fashion at ZENZII. We love helping women accentuate their personalities through color. So it’s only natural that creating bright and bold merchandising displays is one of our favorite things!
To inspire your customers to buy, you’ve got to show them how to rock the color trend with eye-catching displays. Here are three tips to get you started.
Design for your Customer
Do your customers flaunt bold hues all day every day? Or opt for pops of color here and there? By showing multiple options for different styles, you’ll appeal to a broader audience and increase your sales opportunities. We love a win-win! Design two or three displays that incorporate trending shades (think yellow, tangerine, lime and pink) in various ways. Center each display around a theme, such as color, style, material or occasion (more on this below).
Our Resin Collection is filled with vibrant necklace, bracelet and earrings styles in a variety of hues.
2.Create A Story
Your displays should tell a story and what does every story need? A star! Choose a focal point like a charm, pendant or unique silhouette that attracts attention and pulls the look together.
For spring and summer, she’ll be thinking about travel, vacation, and outdoor activities (hello, concerts, BBQs and festivals), so be sure to incorporate these into your theme. Remember: Date night and GNO recs are always appreciated!
Blending colors is an art. Show her how it’s done with these methods:
Gradient: present colors from lightest to darkest or from warm to cool, such as Cerulean to Inkwell or Illuminating Yellow to French Blue.
Harmony: use soft contrasting colors, such as Burnt Coral, Raspberry Sorbet and Merigold.
Contrasting: showcase opposing colors, such as red, white and blue, or black and white.
3. Show Off, Sis
The more your customers see, the more they’ll buy, so get imaginative! Use mannequins, bust forms, jewelry stands, and table displays to create vibrant vignettes around your store. Pay special attention to your cash wrap and the open space between clothing racks - these areas are begging to be dressed up with bursts of color.
As promised, some inspiration for you.
